Polo Beach

Polo Beach in Oahu, is a small, quiet and secluded beach located on the North Shore of Oahu. It is situated in the town of Makaleha, near the Makaleha Beach park. The beach is known for its beautiful secluded sandy shoreline and clear turquoise waters providing a picturesque setting for sunbathing. One of the most secluded and unique beaches on Oahu. On a normal day, the beach is practically deserted.

Traditionally a clothing-optional beach due to its seclusion and lack of tourist. While nude sunbathing is legal, local property owners have clashed with nudest. It is advised to stay out of view of the neighborhood to the east. The beach front home owners are against nudity and will get aggressive.

A short few minute walk from the road to the beach down a public trail, about 300 yards long. The trail is sandy has horse pastures on ether side with horse who loves to greet beachgoers. There is a small street parking area along Farrington highway at the trail head. Look for the beach access sign "256A" and fallow the narrow path to the beach. At the end of the trail you arrive at the beach

It's worth noting that the beach is not well marked, and can be easy to drive pass if you are not familiar with the area.

About 40min drive from Waikiki on the North West side of the island.
